1. How long do the ReadyFlame candles burn? ReadyFlame candles are made of premium materials and have a burn time of up to 75(!) hours. Burn time is determined by a number of factors such as wind, heat, humidity and presence of oxygen. Tip! ReadyFlames candles have a much longer burn time when you extinguish the candles, allow the candle wax to solidify and then light them again.

2. How do I light the ReadyFlame candles? A box of matches is included in each emergency can. Pretty smart. That way, you don’t have to worry about not having a lighter or dry matches nearby when you need them.

3. What is that white powder on top of the candle? The white powder is salt. Edible salt (not recommended eating, by the way). Salt extracts the last bit of moisture in the tin before it is sealed in our factory. In addition, the salt makes for a nice burn. Advice: therefore, leave the salt on top of the candle when using it.

4. After the candle is burned out, what can I do with the can? An empty canning jar is always handy to keep. For example, you can boil water or start a fire in it. In the latter case, it is best to make a few holes in the bottom of the can so that oxygen can get to the fire.

5. What is the weight of a ReadyFlame candle?
A ReadyFlame candle weighs approximately 1.43 pounds. The large candle, the can and the pre-packaged matches together.
